Our mission is to provide you with powerful tools and techniques, and to help you to discover the coaching process. Together, we  can develop the individual coaching processes and models which match your own experience, your competencies and your personal vision.

For us,  coaching involves encouraging a person to evolve.
It helps our coachee to believe in his/her full power and  capacity for evolution.
It  encourages our coachee  to reach his/her true potential and resources.
It allows us to accompany our coachee in taking action and in the self-guiding learning process.

The Coaching Square is ...

SQUARE[skwâr] A square is a central rectangular urban space planted with grass and trees used traditionally for community gatherings . At the square’s center we often find a fountain, a well or statue by which we might be inspired or resourced. Here and there benches invite us to rest, reflect, experiment, play.... This is a comfortable safe place where we welcome you.

At The Coaching Square we invite you to walk on an exciting path to discover the mastery of coaching, a wonderful vocation at the service of human development.

The objective of The Coaching Square is to drive you beyond the coaching techniques, to help you to reach a level of understanding of coaching, and to accompany  the coachee in all his or her dimensions, whether private, social or professional.

The Coaching Square wishes to develop your competencies at different levels:

  • the know-how, through the learning of pertinent techniques;
  • the know-how-to-do-it, through multiple exercises and  follow-up;
  • the know-how-to-be, as a powerful tool for oneself and for the expanding of others’ capabilities;
  • the ability to understand and coach leaders, the change catalysts;
  • the ability to handle the different and complex components of the system.
     

Our programs are built around the coach’s 11 competencies as developed by the International Coach Federation, the world’s first coaches’ federation, and represented in 70 countries.

The 11 ICF competencies are:

1. Meeting ethical guidelines and professional standards
2. Establishing the coaching agreement
3. Establishing trust and intimacy with the client
4. Coaching presence
5. Active listening
6. Powerful questioning
7. Direct communication
8. Creating awareness
9. Designing actions
10. Planning and goal setting
11. Managing progress and accountability
